Your personal decision to make insulin adjustments with disregard to recommended dosages could result in hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia seizures possibly resulting in mortality. If your cat's blood sugar is too high and can’t be read on a glucometer do not overreact by injecting too much insulin which may result in a critical lowering of blood glucose levels to swing your animal into a possible critical situation known as hypoglycemia (too low a blood sugar level).
