Note: Blood work is
a good picture of how your cat’s health is doing. Often it is misunderstood because
we are afraid to ask questions or don’t know where to go to understand the results
we get from the vet’s office. I might suggest going to
www.cathospitalofaustin.com for a handier explanation of bloodwork results
you get from the vet’s.
“Bear” is almost
two years old, born Nov. 9, 2004, and has been on this raw food diet since his first
visit to the food bowl. Bear, is an intact, shorthair, grey and white male, and....
“an indoor lawn lion cat”. He, his mom, and three other siblings have become poster
cats for good health on this diet. None have been vaccinated for any diseases (Note: This was my choice for over coming unnecessary
compromises to their immune systems.) The following is a breakdown of blood work
analysis done in Nov. 2005. I invite you to come back from time to time to review
Bear’s bloodwork to evidence his health reports and progress on his diet. Yes, I
sneak him treats every now and then...but who wouldn’t?
Appreciation is given to
Dr. Melissa Mroziak D.V.M., for her patience with me and my curiosity @
Seneca Animal Hospital in Elma, New York and the Seneca Animal Hospital Staff for
making Bear’s visits, pleasant ones. ***** 5 star rating for all the LVT’s (Licensed
Vet. Technicians) for proper etiquette and kindness to all the animals they care
for. They bribed Bear with treats for the 5 star rating!
