I am still amazed at what your food did for Neo. He had chronic diarrhea for the better part of 4 years. Everything he ate just went right through him. It got so bad that he would have these 'spasms' even while he slept. He couldn't even make it to the litter box half the time. He had been to numerous vets who tried numerous things but nothing worked. Your food was literally my last resort. But because this had been going on for so long, all I hoped for was that the spasms would stop. If he got control back, I wouldn't have to confine him any more. After only 3 days of eating Feline's Pride, the spasms stopped. I was elated! But his progress didn't stop there. In only 2 1/2 weeks time, the diarrhea was gone! I was so amazed....I was calling friends & family exclaiming "Neo has formed stool" (these calls were limited to people who were familiar with Neo's situation, everyone else would have thought I was crazy to be so excited about a cat's litter box).

Carol shares her household with 2 Tonkinese (Barkley and Shaquille) and 1 Burmese (Dikembe) who all adore Feline's Pride. Carol first switched her cats to Feline's Pride to help Barkley gain back the weight that he had lost due to diabetes and heart disease. She also wanted to help Shaquille with his ongoing litter box problems that had been present since bladder-stone surgery in 1999. Since beginning this raw food diet their coats are shinier, their energy is like that of kittens, and the litter box "issues" have disappeared. Additionally, Barkley is beginning to gain back his weight in a healthy, happy way. His strength is returning and all three are much more active, playful, and alert.

These amazing results motivated Carol to become a distributor and activist for a healthy alternative to store-bought cat food.

Stephanie is a cat lover who has always believed that cats should eat what nature intended them to eat, ie a healthy raw meat diet. This belief was confirmed when her beautiful "Lily", a 10yr old Tonkinese, became a diabetic after being given a steroid shot for Feline Asthma. After several months on insulin & a vet approved "dry food diet", she was still sick, with both diabetes & asthma. Then one day there was an epiphany, when Feline's Pride, Dr Hodgkins, & YDC were discovered. Within a month, Lily was off all insulin, & her asthma had improved. She's now slim with great muscle tone, & as active as she was when she was a kitten, with a beautiful coat & bright eyes. Stephanie & Lily now share their home with Janie, a 12yr old Bengal, a recent adoptee, who is absolutely thriving on her new diet of FP.

After 5 mos and hundreds of dollars in vet bills due to skin allergies, I decided to try a raw food diet as a last resort to solve a severe allery problem on 3 of my abys with itchy, raw skin and bald spots from constant biting & overgrooming of their coats. I had noticed that the 3 abys, none of which were related, were constantly scratching and itching to the point of exhibiting raw bloody sores on their bodies, necks, faces & haunches, typical signs of a food allergy. My vet put them on steroids, tranquilizers, topical medications, antibiotics and ran numerous tests for mites, fleas, etc., none of which came back positive or helped the situation. The beautiful boy that I had gotten from another breeder which I intended to show for the upcoming season, and a girl from another breeder which I also intended to show, both had a VERY bad reaction to something in their diet, which I finally figured out after speaking with Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins DVM, who specialized in treating feline allergies. I was on the verge of sending this boy back to his breeder as I didn’t think I could use him in my breeding program with such a bad allergy. Dr. Hodgkins suggested I try a raw food diet, and recommended Feline’s Pride as it was complete & balanced and easy to feed. This meant caging my 6mo old boy and taking away all his dry food and processed canned food and feeding only the raw meat & water. After 2-3wks I noticed his fur growing back, the scratching had stopped, and his coat was shiny and healthy looking and great muscle tone was beginning to appear. My other kitten also cleared up miraculously with the same regiment. The 3rd cat wasn’t as bad and he cleared up in a week. I tried several other brands of raw food, canned meat, raw chicken, but all of my cats preferred the Feline’s Pride ”paws down”. My felines had never had raw food before. They gobbled it down and wanted more. Even my babies 4 to 6wks old thought it was wonderful. I also noticed that I have no waste to throw away. My plates are licked clean!!

I could go on for paragraphs and pages about the change in my cats, the regal Cleocatra (13 year old fawn Abyssinian) and the hilarious and beautiful Bijou (2 year old platinum mink tonk), since we put the kibble and canned food in the trash and started them on Feline's Pride. AMAZING, nothing short of amazing. Cleo has Chronic Renal Disease and Bijou came to us as a kitten from a breeder who exposed her to herpes. My little beauties need all the help they can get to stay healthy. Cleo needs help to stave off the progression of her CRD. We turned to Feline's Pride after she ate the tainted cat food and came very close to death. During that journey we discovered new thinking by vets that support giving protein and simply binding the phosphorus with an odorless, tasteless binder-but it is essential that their kidneys not be stressed trying to get rid of the added carbohydrates, plants, veggie and fruits that are in canned and kibbled foods. Thus, Felines Pride!
Cleo is eating Feline's Pride. She is gaining weight. She is slapping the dogs again and head-butting us. We are watching all of her blood levels and are in contact with Dr. Lisa Pierson, who is dedicated to Feline Health. Bijou is having more days in which you cannot tell she has herpes in her left eye, which also means she needs less medicine! Her coat has gotten softer and is silky beyond belief. There is an obvious correlation between these positive changes and starting her on Feline's Pride.
I excitedly shared this (lots of hand waving and animation) with my best gal pal who proclaimed me an empty-nesting nut-case! I gave her a tub of the food and asked her to simply try it for her "constantly having diarrhea" cat, Mr. Jack Daniels. It sat in her freezer for a few days, I harped a little, then decided to drop it. One day I opened an e-mail to a large message saying, "I AM SOLD-YOU REALLY ARE A NUT-CASE, BUT NOT ABOUT THIS-CAN I HAVE MORE? WILL YOU GET ME SOME?" That was really a great moment! Oh, and I saved that e-mail. After 2 days on Feline's Pride, JD's diarrhea was a thing of the past! She is now going to work with her vet in getting her diabetic cat onto PZI insulin and Feline's Pride. The biggest nay-sayer changed her mind. Actually Feline's Pride changed her mind. I started out just thinking about my own cats and how to best keep them healthy, quickly zoned in on my best friend and now am excited and anxious to share it within my community. I will have Feline's Pride on hand for you-from my freezer to yours-it's really that simple! Feline's Pride is the best possible diet for our cats-all we have to do is feed it to them and watch them thrive!

As a veterinarian, I had always sworn I would not feed my animals raw food for fear of risking food poisoning…bacterial GI upset is a serious health concern, and people handling these food items incorrectly can put themselves at risk also! My life is ruled by Lord Latte, a 14yr Himalayan mix kitty I rescued (1996) whom allows us to serve his every need in his kingdom LOL (and no, we don’t mind because he is everything to us…as your kitty is special to you as well!). He has multiple health issues, including IBD which we have been managing via diet alone for over 4 years…every 10-12 months he becomes severely ill again, as he developed reactions to the processed food we used, all low or non-allergenic. They worked, but only for so long, and he always relapsed. He cannot tolerate the drugs that usually help with symptoms in many cats. He shut down metabolically and mentally became a limp noodle that wouldn’t even get up to try and eat, let alone use the litter box. He would then vomit 4-6 times a day, and then start to lose weight again. August 2007 was the last episode, he lost 25% of his body weight, looked emaciated, was weak all the time, barely interacted with us…and this is a cat that ALWAYS has something to say; he stopped his constant vocalizing, stopped cleaning himself, refused to be held, stopped caring about his world…we knew he was dying.

I ran test after test without additional diagnoses other than the IBD. I hoped it would not progress to intestinal cancer as it can often do with chronic inflammation. I tried many medications all to no avail. (Then he stopped taking them orally altogether including treat refusal, he vomited everything he did try to eat, and I went to injectables to at least slow the vomiting down.) We cried, we prayed, we mourned prematurely…and when my husband sat on the floor one morning holding Latte’s weak body and announcing to me that we should consider letting him go, my desperation finally allowed me to give in.

I went on the net, researched raw diet sources for one that gave me an option without grains and plant materials (which I KNEW were the root of his illness), and found someone who guaranteed balanced nutrition and regular testing for bacteria in their raw foods…and I took a deep breath, and I sent them an email….The rest is history! Shelby came to Latte’s rescue, rushed our food order to us and Latte ATE it the first time offered. He seemed to know it was the best thing for him, he stopped repeat vomiting in 24 hours, his diarrhea was improving, and his energy returned quickly. Latte now races up and down our stairs, he chases the laser light, he plays with toys…things he has not done in 4 YEARS! Now he only vomits occasional hairballs. He talks all the time again, he gained all his weight back (10# now), and I have never seen him this happy or look this great! Truly, this food saved his life…I would never have believed it possible for a simple food to do this, but he has been off meds since the day he started the raw diet…he is living proof that giving up was not a good option.

My assumptions are confirmed that animals do well in spite of what we do to them; Latte could have had a higher quality of life if he had been on this food sooner. And though I regret my stubbornness to switch, I am grateful for discovering a non-drug option to control the disease I know is still there, and for having the faith to step out of my own fearfulness and offer him a chance to spend more time on earth with me. Because whatever time he spends with me feeling this good and this happy, I will be blessed with his soul-inspiring presence and unconditional love…and I shall return it in full. I am SO willing to help others achieve this level of health with their feline furries, you need only reach out to us…Latte will share his pâté, and your lives shall change for the better!  =^..^=

On January 5, 2008 my 16 year old male cat, Mouser, was diagnosed as diabetic with BG of 532. He was changed from his regular dry food to M/D at that time and put on 2 units of insulin morning and night. On Saturday night, January 12, 2008 I really thought he was not going to make it and I hit Google and started researching feline diabetes. I was stunned at so much good information available and immediately on Sunday changed Mouser's food to canned Fancy Feast with carbs at or below 3% of total calories. I started him with a small teaspoon of the food and fed him many times that day. After finding out about Feline's Pride, I started Mouser on Feline's Pride and he immediately ate a good serving. I also started my 12 week old kitten, Sheba, on it and she eats about a teaspoon at each serving. I have noticed small positive changes in Mouser since putting him on the canned food and now the Feline's Pride. He has lost a lot of the dander and dullness from his beautiful fur coat.....He has lost 1.2 pounds and can now walk around the house more. His paw pads are turning pink and soft again. He is starting to groom himself again. And....it is great to see him standing up to the kitten when she wants to give him a hug.....He was just falling over on his side and acting like he was wounded......Now he sits up and paws back at her and gives her a verbal scolding. He is purring a lot once again. I believe we are on the right track with Feline's Pride and I plan to keep all three of my animals on it. Even though Smokey has not had much of the raw chicken I noticed this morning that her fur is also starting to feel very soft again. I expect to have Mouser off of insulin before the first bottle of insulin is used. Thank you for being there to help us get our cats back to the way mother nature intended. I am very grateful for the great testimonies and information you have up on Feline's Pride. You have made me a believer in raw food for my 'kids'. Sandy Standiford

I will start off with saying that I am known as a crazy cat lady and love it. I have owned cats since I can remember. In 2006 my beautiful boy Shadow was diagnosed with spleen cancer, and after doing everything to try to save him, the decision was made to let him go. After surgery to remove his spleen, and multiple blood transfusions, it was time to end his suffering. In life he gave me love and joy in death he though me so many lessons – THANK YOU Shadow and RIP. The same year I started to rescue cats and kittens, and from having 2 cats left, my household has grown to 13 cats. I made a promise to myself that I would do whatever it took for them to have happy, healthy and long lives. I was feeding the “premium” can food (no dry), but still I was dealing with UTI, URI, dry coats, oily coats, and very smelly breaths. Something was still not right. I would spend most of my free time and money at the vets (they love me there, and told me they will get me VIP Parking spot – lol). Finally one day I found FELINES PRIDE, and the same day I placed my small order, to try it out. From the first day all of my cats love the food. When I put down the other “premium” food they all look at me like I was trying to poison them, and I end up throwing it out. Heath problems are slowly disappearing; their coats look great, and no more “kitty breath”. What nature made as a perfect predator, man has almost destroyed. Making our cats eat things (carbs) that they cannot utilize. Now more than ever we have cats that are obese, sickly, and weak. Just this year 32% of cats will be diagnosed with cancer. This is such a sad statistic. FELINES PRIDE with its species appropriate diet can help us return out cats to the beautiful healthy animals they were meant to be.
PS. Big THANK YOU to Shelby at FELINES PRIDE for such YUMMY food from Sammie, Sadie, Alex, Saffire, Sebastian, Olivia, Jazzy, Izzy, Lexi, Willa, Sisi, and 2 rescued kittens.

I work with some of the toughest cases in the cat world and do what I can to provide a warm, loving home to a few of the world's overlooked, ragged, and rejected cats. I've spent countless hours educating myself on cat nutrition, and have been amazed at what I've learned. We all know cats are obligate carnivores, right? So it should be no surprise that a cat that is kept on a diet full of grains, fillers, and vegetables is not the optimum choice for our beloved fur kids; However, our commercial pet food industries continue to push dry diet after dry diet on us, all with a seal of approval from AAFCO, pushing onto the pet lovers of the world this great diet, which, if you take a look at the ingredients, isn't all it's cracked up to be. Even our premium kibble diets out there still lack something incredibly critical to any animal's survival: Water. Cats don't drink to thirst. In the short term, the effects aren't too obvious, but in seeing so many cats go through kidney failure when kept on a dry diet, I decided to dive deeper into what's really going on with these guys. What dry diets lack, wet diets certainly help, but there is still something missing in those diets. Cooking food destroys many of the valuable nutrients our fur kids need to stay healthy. There have been many people who have tried raw diets, but have been turned off due to the expense, time, and the idea of grinding up meats on a daily basis, which can be nauseating for most. Here is where Feline's Pride steps in. This is an incredible product that offers our cats the diet that nature intended; no carbs, no fillers, nothing but good, quality, whole meats, without the fuss of worrying about balancing out nutrients, grinding meats at home, etc. Just look at some of our guys; we've been through the ringer with many a cat trying diet after diet; raw is the way to go, and this is the product that will do it. The results from feeding Feline's Pride is amazing. I can talk your ear off all night about the benefits of this diet, but I'd rather you try it for awhile, and let the results speak for themselves. Your cats will thank you for it with years of love, and great health.

I first became aware of Feline's Pride when Maggie was diagnosed with Diabetes in July 2007. Members of the forum at yourdiabeticcat.com as well as Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins DVM, a specialist in feline diabetes highly recommend this diet. What a difference this food has made in Maggie's life as well as in the lives of my other non-diabetic cats! Because of the optimum nutrition and low carb content of Feline's Pride, Maggie is acting years younger, her coat is gorgeous, and her numbers are now under control. For my entire family of 5 cats, there are no more problems with vomiting, litter box odor is gone and litter box output is half of what it used to be. These are very important things to a Cat Mom!! Not to mention the increase in activity level and how soft and beautiful their coats are now!! I am thrilled to be a distributor for Feline's Pride... spreading the word to all cat owners to feed as nature intended and prolong the lives of their cats.

In August of 2006 my cat Zorra was diagnosed with diabetes. She stayed at the vet's clinic for three weeks. There, the vet began a regimen of dry food designed for cats with diabetes, 5 units of PZI a day, and tri-daily BG tests. At the end of the three weeks, I brought Zorra home. The day after she came home, the bottom dropped out of her blood sugar. I took her back and she stayed another three weeks. At that point my bill was almost $1200.00. I brought her home again. As the days and weeks passed, I noticed little change for the better. In fact, she began walking on her hocks. Neuropathy had set in, and her hind quarters became so weakend that she was dragging herself to the litter box. Day after day, her conditioned worsened. I could not continue to watch her deteriorate and so I decided to have her euthanized. Her fructosamine test of 11/21/06 showed she was not regulating and in fact her numbers were off the charts. I went back to the computer one last time - looking for some hope and some help. I am not sure how I missed the Feline's Pride web site in all my reading, but I had. I wrote Shelby, and he sent me a container of the raw chicken. Within 72 hours Zorra was a different cat. I have had her levels checked twice since beginning the FP diet. Once in April of '07 and a second in June of '07. She is completely regulated and her intake of insulin is down to 2 units once a day. There was little hope for Zorra when she was first diagnosed; however, thanks to Shelby and Feline's Pride life saving raw diet, my cat is lean, healthy, and feisty as ever.

My beautiful and beloved Siamese Mari was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes in January, 2006. After 6 months of veterinary hell we found www.yourdiabeticcat.com, where the kind, generous (and of course fabulously original) Shelby stepped in with two 2.5 lb samples of raw chicken for my sick kitty. Mari took to it immediately and instinctively – obviously this cat knew that she needed healthy food to get better.

Within one month I noticed her need for insulin decreased. Her coat changed from a dark brown colour from eating the poisonous dry food to a lighter shade of beige. She was brighter, livelier and content.

With several more months of persistence, patience using Dr. H's TR Protocols with PZI insulin, my beloved Mari went into remission.

When I learned that MediCal dry food – preventative, reducing, and weight control – she had been on all of them -- was the cause of her diabetes, it took me just a day to ditch it (I returned it for a refund from the vet that sold it to us).

I knew in my heart that diet was key to restoring her to health. I am so grateful to have found YDC and Shelby of Felines Pride. I know Mari was cured because of the change to this diet – absolutely! I know that this is now part of my responsibility – to educate other cat owners about these dangers and to offer them an alternative.

Feline's Pride is absolutely, positively "5-star hotel" real food for cats. This experience and all the stress that went along with it motivated me to help educate many other cat owners about the dangers of feeding dry food to cats – and to help provide them with a healthy solution to ensure that their kitties recover from illness and lead long and healthy lives.
